Research

The Institute for Humane Robotics' research program studies how embodied AI changes human behavior, development, and relationships, and turns those findings into evaluation frameworks and public reports.

Overview

Why research matters now.

Our work spans cognitive neuroscience, child development, and AI alignment. We publish frameworks, briefings, and reports that are written to be used: by engineers designing products, by policymakers writing rules, and by the public living with the results.

Who it’s for
Researchers, product teams, funders, and institutions studying human–robot coexistence.
  • Evidence that is legible to engineers and regulators alike.
  • Early access to findings for members before public release.
  • A shared vocabulary for humane robot behavior.

What you get
